The guy said he'd settled "The Joker" to clean the hull and replace the propellor, he had 6 and a half hours between tides. Another hour and he was gone. The coastguard just couldn't understand the concept that he wasn't stuck and the boat done this as a feature and not that he'd beached by accident. Their stupidity was my gain :)
